Capabilities of the Teleport at White Springs, Florida

The Teleport at White Springs is a C- Band FCC Licensed AlSAT (all satellite) designated Earth Station authorized to communicate with every domestic Space Station licensed by the FCC, as well as many International Space Stations approved by the US Government and international treaty.

See License on file at  Its grand-fathered status, which protects it from interference, has insured its “horizon to horizon” capability. Situated at one of the highest elevations in Florida, the Teleport is able to “see” all the satellites over the Atlantic, thereby allowing “single hop” international communication. The Teleport also operates a KU Band digital satellite uplink which is utilized for special applications.

The Teleport at White Springs is a part of the $13 billion teleport sector of the global satellite communications industry. The private sector produces over 15% of world satellite communications dollars.

Those satellites are C-Band Galaxy IV and KU Band Telestar 7 (a.k.a. IA-7). Thus, the company’s signals already blanket the USA, Canada, Mexico, much of Central America and, on short notice, can go well beyond.
